Kevin Durant and Three Nets Players Test Positive for COVID-19 Virus

The future of the 2019-20 NBA season is still very much unknown, and for good reason. On Tuesday it was reported that four Brooklyn Nets players had tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.

The team put out a press release stating that one of the players is exhibiting symptoms, while the other three are not. This is a stark reminder that young, healthy adults can not only get ill with COVID-19, but importantly, harbor the virus unknowingly, spreading the disease.

The NBA is on lock-down following last week’s suspension of activity. As the situation continues to unfold, the league front office will continue to assess what steps, if any, are available for salvaging the remainder of this season.

Kevin Durant is one of the four Nets who have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.

OTG will continue to offer updates as warranted.
