John Wall- Wall was a huge letdown yesterday, and didn’t crack 30 fantasy points. Like most great players do, I expect Wall to bounce back after last night. Even after last night Wall is still averaging 41 fantasy points a game over his last five.
Deron Williams- Williams is a hit or miss player, last game he looked like a stud, but was only given limited minutes. Tonight he faces Boston, who are allowing the most fantasy points to point guards over the last five games.
James Harden- I expect Harden to bounce back tonight against the Pacers, the Pacers don’t really have a big that can help contain Harden on pick and rolls. It also will be a big game for both teams so look for Harden to bring it.
Avery Bradley- Bradley didn’t explode like Evan Turner did last night, but tonight should be his night. Also Thomas is still out, leaving more minutes for Bradley.
Joe Johnson- Johnson is slowly becoming fantasy relevant again, tonight he has a great matchup in Boston. The Celtics are allowing the most fantasy points to shooting guards over the last five games.
Draymond Green- Green is averaging 32 fantasy points over his last five games, and I love the matchup against the Wizards. The Wizards bigs will have a hard time dealing with Green all night.
Gordon Hayward- Hayward has a great matchup against the Timberwolves, who have allowed 39 fantasy points a game over the last five games to small forwards.
Derrick Favors- Favors should have a monster game tonight, the Timberwolves are allowing 40 fantasy points a game to power forwards on the season.
Brandon Bass- Bass should be able to hit value against the Nets tonight, he will be able to take advantage of the Nets’ lack of rebounding.
Josh Smith + Donatas Motiejunas- Both of these guys have some nice value with Jones and Howard out, and will be needed to deal with the Pacers’ size.
Brook Lopez- Lopez has scored 58 points in his last two games and is shooting 72%, and he is putting some effort in on defense and rebounding. Then throw in the fact the Celtics don’t have much size on the inside, and the Celtics are giving up 50 fantasy points a game to centers.
Rudy Gobert- Gobert is due for a bounce-back game, and who better to face than the Timberwolves, who allow the third most fantasy points to centers.
