There aren’t a ton of matchups I like tonight. I feel like there could be a few blowouts, which messes everything up. Even with that said here are a few plays I like.
Chris Paul- Paul has been playing great and Griffin coming back should only help. I also just don’t love any of the point guard matchups.
Alexey Shved- Shved has been great for the Knicks, his last four games he has posted 29+ fantasy points a game. The Spurs also have given up 43 fantasy points a game to point guards over their last five, and plus someone has to score for the Knicks.
James Harden-Harden bounced out of his mini slump last game, posting 49 fantasy points. Tonight he should continue that, the Magic have allowed the second most fantasy points to shooting guards over the last five games.
Victor Oladipo- Oladipo is coming off a solid game against the Cavs, and should be able to repeat. The Rockets’ tempo should allow him to get out on the breaks a few times and grab a few easy baskets.
Trevor Ariza- Ariza has posted 30 fantasy points in his last three of his last four games, and gets a friendly matchup tonight against the Magic. The Magic are allowing the fourth most fantasy points small forwards over the last five games as well.
Tobias Harris- The Rockets aren’t far behind the Magic when defending small forwards over the last five game. They are giving up the seventh most fantasy points. I also like this matchup for Harris, because if the Magic try to go small, he could see some extra minutes.
Anthony Davis-He is a dominating force, and I don’t see anyone on the Bucks slowing him down.
Andrea Bargnani- Bargnani has 20+ fantasy points in seven straight games, and is seeing 30 minutes a game, so he does have some value for his price.
Marvin WIlliams-I had Williams yesterday, but the Hornets got demolished by the Jazz, so that didn’t workout. Tonight I expect the Hornets to be in the game, so WIlliams should be able to hit value long as Zeller is still out.
Nikola Vucevic- Vucevic has posted 37+ fantasy points in his last three, and faces a team that is using an undersized frontcourt. That is allowing over 50 fantasy points a game to centers over their last ten games.
