NBA Games of the Week April 9th-11th

The end is here. The NBA 2017-18 Regular Season has only three days remaining and there are some very important games that will decide seeding in the playoffs and in some cases, whether or not a team is in the playoffs. While the Eastern Conference is set and the Clippers were officially eliminated from playoff contention, there is one spot up for grabs in the Western Conference and missing the playoffs would be disastrous for some of the teams involved. Let's get to the game

It is the last full week of the regular season and there is a lot on the line for many teams as they fight for playoff seeding. It should be a great week to see some intense match-ups. Monday, April 2nd No games due to some college game going on. Tuesday, April 3rd Golden State Warriors at Oklahoma City Thunder (8PM EST) This is the final game of the season series between these two teams. After winning the first two games by 17 points and 20 points, respectively, the Thunder

Monday March 26th Denver Nuggets at Philadelphia 76ers (7PM EST) This is the second and final game of the season series between these two teams. Philadelphia won the first game at the end of December by 5 points in Denver. The Nuggets are currently in the 9th spot out west and they are going to have to put together some wins if they hope to get into the playoffs. Unfortunately, their final 9 games are against teams in the playoff picture. Surprisingly, it might be a blessing

Photo by Scott Taetsch/Getty Images Monday March 12th San Antonio Spurs at Houston Rockets (8PM EST) This is the 3rd game in the four game series between these two teams. The Rockets have won the first two games by 15 points and 11 points. The Spurs have a rough road ahead and their loss to the Thunder on Saturday night does little to give me confidence that they will be one of the 8 teams in the Western Conference Playoffs. They are currently the 7th seed in the West, but ha

The final regular season games will take place on Thursday February 15th and will not start up again until the following Thursday, the 22nd. The hope was that the changes that the NBA made to the All-Star game would make it more exciting, but with all of the injuries that have taken place their priorities may have shifted. H

Merry Christmas! We have reached the point in the season where it’s a great time to assess what we have seen so far. Christmas seems to be the date that the NBA really gets into full swing with games becoming more and more meaningful. Heading into Christmas there are some interesting developments. The 76ers have fallen off of a cliff. They have lost 5 in a row and Embiid has had to miss some games with back issues. The Heat and Knicks have overtaken them in the standings and

The NBA season has now passed the quarter mark of the season and some things are starting to really take shape. The time to say that a team needs time to gel is diminishing and we are getting closer and closer to panic time for some teams. The Rockets have been downright dominant. They have not lost a game when Chris Paul has played and in the games without Chris Paul they are 10-4. They are currently on a 9 game winning streak. The Warriors are without Stephen Curry for the

It was a very busy week in the NBA. Our first coach firing happened in Memphis as the Grizzlies said goodbye to David Fizdale. The Grizzlies are still on their losing streak, which currently stands at 11 games and counting. After losing Paul Millsap, the Nuggets had a huge scare when Nikola Jokic went down against the Bulls and will miss the next few games. Also, Jazz rookie Donovan Mitchell has emerged as a rookie to watch and he might make this rookie of the year award race

Well, things seem to be getting back to normal in the East. Cleveland cannot seem to lose and are in the midst of a 7 game winning streak and Orlando cannot seem to win and are in the midst of an 8 game losing streak. Out West, the Rockets have looked downright dominant and the Warriors seem to drift in and out of caring. The Nuggets have lost Paul Millsap for a few months and the Clippers have lost Patrick Beverley for possibly the rest of the season. On top of all of that,

The NBA Season is entering its 6th week and there are some amazing things happening. The Boston Celtics have won 15 games in a row and look like a team that can absolutely challenge the Cavaliers for the East crown. Orlando’s early season Magic seems to have worn off as they have lost four in a row. The Charlotte Hornets and Los Angeles Clippers are in complete tail spins after injuries. The Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets look like absolute juggernauts out West as

The NBA season has given us some intrigue in the Eastern Conference, where the Boston Celtics cannot seem to lose despite missing their better players. Their winning streak stands at 11 games as I write this and they do not show signs of slowing down. The Cleveland Cavaliers cannot seem to play any defense, although they tend to play much better against better teams beating the Milwaukee Bucks again and playing the Houston Rockets close. The Detroit Pistons have also looked l
